Valkyria is similar to Front Mission 4--it has tense tactical RPG battles and a deep narrative. However, Valkyria's beautiful 3D landscapes and its third-person shooting system set it apart from every other turn-based RPG that came before it. The movement system might not make much sense, but the vibrant anime graphics make up for all of its shortcomings. This is an underrated classic that still deserves more recognition for its achievements in Japanese game development.
