Perhaps my favorite movie I've seen in quite a long time, though I'm not completely sure why, and I'm scared I won't still love it once I watch it again. But, the acting and directing seemed very good, and the visuals were rich and bright. I found a lot to love about Audrey's character, Holly Golightly. At first she seems as quirky and capably ditsy as a classy female Jack Sparrow, yet then you realize there's a somewhat sad and broken person underneath. I found her character complex and believable, and everyone else was likable too, even the Asian stereotype. Plus it just has that classic feel, and a homely tone despite a big city setting. I couldn't always understand what people were saying, and next time I might watch it with subtitles, since I was a little confused sometimes. I didn't feel into it in the same manner I've felt into most movies I've really liked lately, yet I feel like this movie has had a great effect on me.
