The show had a decent first couple of seasons then got really good in the later ones. It did most of the characters justice, introduced new ones, and even improved on some. There were a couple who's potential was wasted. Some uninteresting characters, and the continued butchering of Grievous, who rarely posed any real threat. Other than that, animation was fine, then improved later on. There were some really good story arcs and likable characters. Overall, it was a great show.
