I have an attachment to this game, a huge attachment, maybe it's my love for JRPGs. Maybe it's my obsession for cult/niche games on Nintendo systems. Maybe it's because it's part of what made the Nintendo of GameCube one of my favorite systems of all time. Whatever the reason, on its own merit, Baten Kaitos feels unique, I like the story, I can dig the battle system, I find its music very immersive. Sure the voice acting may be hokey and okay, sure the story might not be perfect, but again, the flaws are very underminded by everything else great about this game. I'd really like this series to flourish on future Nintendo systems. Give this game a try, it's seriously underrated!
