Editing … ^This kind of thing's why I've never liked him no matter how good a player he is.

Editing … I know you're a fan but c'mon Ulty how is he right not to care? FIFA have been blantantly corrupt for years leeching off the sport and dragging its name through the mud in the process. Maybe the worst thing they've done is awarding the World Cup to Qatar, such a terrible location for a summer football tournament that it's pretty obvious there must have been bribery in the voting process meaning that now Qatar's rushing to build football stadiums and infrastructure using cruelly exploited migrant labour and on top of that the tournament will still have to be moved to winter disrupting all the domestic leagues and the Champion's League. It takes a real ass to be at the heart of football with a chance to highlight all of that and instead to petulantly storm off saying he doesn't "give a f***" when asked what he thinks because he only wanted to talk about the headphone's he's promoting.

Editing … Actually i'm not that big a fan of Cristiano, but ok...I completely agree with you on FIFA being the most disgustingly corrupt people in the world today, but yes Ronaldo has no business talking about them especially when he was there promoting a product. The questions were supposed to be directed at him and the product, and they're asking them about fucking FIFA...i'd be pissed too. You don't see any other big name footballer doing it, and there's a reason for that. I don't like him as a person either, but I know if I were at a press conference about my channel or whatever, and people would ask me about the Portuguese government i'd do the exact same thing Ronaldo did. It's disrespect at it's best...

Editing … You're not a fan? My bad. In my defence you support Real, you're Portuguese and he's on your ATF players list so it was easy to assume. ---------------------Anyway I totally disagree. Ronaldo is a professional footballer, FIFA are the sport's governing body, it is totally his business to be asked about them and unless he's so self centred he doesn't give a damn about his own sport you'd expect him to have an opinion. If he just didn't have the nerve to express that opinion in case there are repercussions then that would've been cowardly (he's one of the world's best players at one of the world's biggest clubs, he'd be fine) but far from unique in that cowardice since sadly a lot of players/managers don't seem to want to talk about it. He was worse than that though, he not only didn't want to talk about it, he petulantly stormed out of an interview because a journalist tried to ask him about the most important issue in football instead of something vacuous. -----------------------------------------------------------He was trying to promote some headphones and it's disrespectful not to go along with that? Why? Headphones aren't news and the media isn't obliged to be interested in them. If I was a journalist and a high profile footballer tried to cash in on their celebrity to promote a product through an interview with me I'd expect that as a trade off I'd get the chance to get to ask them about way more important things too.
