A great surprise. Dragon Sword uses pretty much every Nintendo DS cliché: "book-style" orientation, full touch controls, microphone to screen and blow to solve puzzles, drawing on the screen, etc. There's a charm on the pre-rendered backgrounds, it's clear Team Ninja did this game with love. Since I never played the modern Ninja Gaiden games (still waiting for my copy of Sigma for the PS3), I can't compare to those, but as a standalone hack n slash, Dragon Sword is one of the finest I ever played.
