I never played Outbreak with other people. It would have probably made the experience better, but it's still good alone. You take the role of one of eight survivors during the outbreak of Raccoon City and go through five levels to escape the city. As for the story after that, each character has an ending scene for each level, and certain characters have scenes exclusive to them in some cases. The game's controls are fine and it has the Resident Evil look. Each character has a special ability as well which ranges from extra space, to better weapons. The A.I. teammates aren't the best but they rarely get in the way. The only help I got from them was on the last level. Each level is also unique, with the last being the largest. There is a lot to unlock as well using points earned from playing the game. Overall, Outbreak is a good game and is able to pull off the Resident Evil atmosphere.
