I better finish this up before Tides of Numenera. I was playing through Planescape a few years ago but my old PC died halfway through :(

Editing … Played this game for about 2 minutes before turning off my PC in disgust. I really can't stand isometric fantasy CRPGs.

Editing … What bothers you about them? I like this one because it's not traditional Tolkien fantasy. Planescape is more of a weird interactive novel: I just spent 40 minutes in a pub talking to some translucent guy who traveled up limbo's arse, which apparently drained his existence; met a wizard who liked setting things on fire so much that the locals decided to set him on fire for eternity; recruited a guy who can bend his sword by talking to it, because cool; and now I'm off to talk to a pregnant wall...

Editing … On the list of games I wish I liked, Planescape might be at the very top. It's one of the best written games ever.

Editing … I figured you would have liked it because of Persona, there's a similar level of downtime.

Editing … I like my RPGs straight turn based or straight action. I don't like the in between of stuff like Baldurs Gate and Final Fantasy XII. I also don't like the graphics or music. The only isometric point and clicky kind of game I've sort of liked was Torchlight II, and even then I gave up on it pretty quick.

Editing … I like it but the pseudo-turnbased combat is something that isn't always popular; it's not a very elegant system. It's less of an issue in Planescape since the combat can just be put on easy and ignored, but that's like saying a core part of your game doesn't matter.
