The Swapper pulls you in with its haunting atmosphere and enigmatic story that, as it unravels, poses some tough questions, but ultimately leaves it up to you to answer them. Add to that the brilliantly designed puzzles that are highly addicting and you've got yourself something truly special.
Pros: Few games rival its atmosphere, brilliant and thought provoking story, superb storytelling, great writing and voice acting, ethereal soundtrack, immaculate pacing, genius gameplay mechanic and puzzles, perfect length, respects the player
Cons: Visuals are serviceable, but nothing more, collectibles further flesh out the story, but are so hidden that you'll actually need a guide to find them, a couple of puzzles that pop up near the end require almost pixel-perfect-like precision
