  Editing … I agree with that, except for the last episode, which is really intense and also has a major feelbad ending. But between that and the capture of Laura Palmer's killer (or was it? Trying to elaborate on that would probably result in major spoilers, so I'll leave it for now) the show basically turned into a soap opera, which probably has a lot to do with the fact that Lynch rarely sat in the director's chair by the time Season 2 finished. Still bloody love Twin Peaks though.
