Brilliant power ballad! Probably the best since Stairway, and i'd say it's the spiritual successor to it, even if it's not as good. Too bad this song came out the same year as great songs like Jeremy, Alive, Losing my Religion, Come as You Are, Lithium and the masterpiece Smells Like Teen Spirit. A year which marked a huge turning point for mainstream music and rock as well, and all of a sudden bands like Bon Jovi and Guns N' Roses weren't so popular anymore. Maybe that's why November Rain never got that much praise, but it's still a really great song!
