Been wanting to check out the Berserk anime ever since hearing how much the Souls games and Bloodborne were inspired by it. I had no idea it was supposed to be a gruesome dark fantasy.

Some of the imagery was lifted directly from the manga. Case in point, the cover art for Dark Souls: Artorias of the Abyss is identical to that of Berserk vol 28: http://s1.postimg.org/4yw84s1hr/artoriasvsguts.jpg
