Saved!Gries HeEditing … you can buy the rights to a website domain that doesn't exist yet, right? Say if I wanted to own gries-is-awesome.com, I could pay some hosting company like 30 bucks and that website were mine. That's fair game. What's not okay is when you're a journalist who uses inside knowledge to buy a website that another company has every intention to own and then sell that company your (empty) website/domain for a premium. This (illegal) practice is called 'cybersquatting'.
