This album is the spearhead of everything experimental in rock. One of the largest and most distinct steps in music history. Lou's dark and gritty songwriting is some of the best of the 60s. The songs' production feels aged and lo-fi which only adds to its charm and makes it age even better over time. The blend of 60s rock and roll blending with the sharp and intense distortions leaves an incredible impression. This album also seems to revive some styles touched on far before the birth of rock and still blends them with their trademark sound perfectly. It's an exploration and celebration of everything music while also embracing its inevitable evolution.
