"Mickey Mousing" refers to tying the animation and soundtrack of a film very closely together. In this sense, Fantasia is a better homage to the mischievous character of the late 20's and early 30's than anything else made since. Fantasia embraced some of the greatest musical pieces ever composed and built stories and images around them, allowing for the two to complement each other perfectly. It has also aged quite well, though the depiction of prehistoric times may seem odd to newer audiences. Chernabog steals the show towards the end, but every piece is worth watching and listening too in wonder.
