Life Force was one of the first spaceship shmups that truly pushed gamers to the limits. The quick patterns of enemies killed off numerous players when this game came out in the late 80s. It is still one of the most challenging space shooters of all time. The music and colorful graphics have an edgy, energetic vibe that still keeps me hooked for ages.
