Because Marluxia is an awesome backstabbing villain who was cheated out of a more prominent role in the Kingdom Hearts series and he had awesome fights where he combined Western and Japanese death-themed motifs and was like "I'm going to use magiteck armor while summoning storms of flower petals and being the scariest flower-themed villain ever and look it appears your blood is all over the floor along with that of all your friends."
