For a spin-off the first Persona 4 Arena was an amazingly well executed game. This sequel nearly doubles the roster and makes significant updates so that everyone is more versatile and viable, not to mention just fun to use. I don't think I've ever played a fighter where nearly every character is fun to use like in Ultimax. A great update to an already fantastic base game.

Pros:
Characters are a joy to use
Everyone has interesting moves
Looks wonderful
More Persona users!

Cons:
The first Arena game had a surprisingly good story. This one, not so much.
Could have done more with Golden Arena mode
