Chrono Cross has the unfortunate fate of usually being looked down upon as the ''lesser'' title of the two Chrono games. For what reasons exactly, apart from nostalgia, I don't know. What I do know is that it stood the test of time with far more dignity and that it's overall a more interesting experience.
Pros: Incredible music, beautiful and creative art design, great gameplay, good story, cool interactions with the world, the way it intertwines with Chrono Trigger, New Game+, actually avoidable fights, incredible graphics
Cons: Insane amount of characters and barely any of them are fleshed out, tries too hard (and fails) to make conversations seem lifelike with all the different dialects, slightly tedious time traveling, constant framerate issues
