Best anime ever! Epic story-line with very well-crafted characters and so much political intrigue in addition to deep philosophical clashes in the midst of strategic and tactical war-time brilliance. Sieg Kaiser Reinhard! I wish there was a great dub, but I loved it with subtitles even so, which is a testament to its brilliance. Yang Wenli and Reinhard Von Lohengramm are two of the most interesting characters I've ever seen in a show, and I love them both, which is an amazing feat, as they are most often on opposing sides in battle. This is an anime that lasts 110 episodes, an astonishing number, and yet the show retains its momentum to the end. I will say, however, that the first 25-52 episodes are the best (and you need to give this show a chance over 25 episodes to really let it grip you), but I still enjoyed the latter half of the series and bawled like a baby by the time it was all over.
