A solid Metroid-style game which is held back by the lack of a save feature, some backtracking and annoying design choices like losing both HP and weapon power from enemy hits. As for what it does right - Being able to exit your tank and move around on foot adds a layer of immersion as you become more vulnerable but also able to reach new areas, the bosses are large and intimidating, and the game's premise is endearingly whimsical. The soundtrack is also quite memorable and technically impressive (as to be expected from Sunsoft) but bottom line, I'd recommend emulating this one for a more enjoyable experience.
