Solid old school action game in which every button press counts. It's a very different experience depending on which port you're playing. My own fav would be the arcade original simply for the tension and speed. SMS version is a close no. 2, in which they slowed down the tempo but retained the optional weapons and magic, got rid of some trial & error and added a health bar that you can upgrade the length of.
