This is a pretty good platformer for the time which really captures that classic Disney vibe. You can see hints of what's to come in the level design of the MD game; several ideas can be found in the first Sonic game as well. The problem I have with the MD game is that it doesn't really play to the console's strengths - it's a very slow paced game and there's never a whole lot going on on-screen. I actually prefer the SMS version, which has different mechanics, more secrets to find and an overall faster pace.
