Well, this is pretty cool. If you've managed to transfer a Pokemon all the way from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald to Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, the game will detect that and give you a certificate for it.

The fact that you can transfer a potentially 12 y/o Pokemon to the latest games in the series is really quite impressive, and Nintendo should be commended for it. At the same time, it makes it all the more disappointing that we can't go back as far as 1996 when the original Red/Green were released, as there's no way to transfer Pokemon from the GB/GBC to the GBA. Bummer...
