Sega needs to stop making Sonic games. This is as good as it's gonna get. I don't say that because I hate Sonic or anything, it's just that this game is really solid and it did wonders for the series (and Sega's by association) reputation. I don't want to see Sonic Team potentially screw up again. So, why did I like this game? Well, it provided that fast paced action that Sonic is supposedly known for, it had solid level design with very few glitchy areas (A first for a Sonic game) and it had a killer soundtrack. There are some quality remixes here. The game is also super-nice looking. Rooftop Run especially. Really, the biggest problems are the boss fights which isn't much of a surprise.
