When I really think about it, 'Late in the Day' by #Supergrass really embodies everything I ever tried to achieve as a musician. Playing in bands with the likes of @Matthew James Kayser, @Chris Tomeo and @Drew Montgomery was both an outright and subconscious effort to achieve the creation and execution of a song like this. From it's instantly memorable opening melody to its unexpected positive vibe contrasted by a fantastic guitar solo, THIS is a song that embodies brit-pop and has managed to live on in my heart and mind. Give it a listen if you're unfamiliar with it or if you, like me, just want to revisit a real classic.
