Honestly, I don't really enjoy jazz as a whole. But, this record holds such a significant and dear place in my heart. I remember hearing "So What" quietly playing from my mom's stereo every summer afternoon as I would sit down to enjoy a lovely dinner with her. This album brings me back to such a happy time in my life. I feel so on top of the world. With that, I also think it's one hell of a solid piece of work and my current vote for best album of all time. Every song compliments the next one so smoothly. The attention to detail and the on point interactions between instruments just envelopes you with a smooth sensation. What a brilliant piece of art.
