    Posting here due to the "opinion glitch":

    While it's not without its extremely awesome, over-the-top moments, it didn't have the same feeling of climactic build-up like the first game--they just kind of throw the main antagonist right in your face at the very end. Also, unlike in the first game, the boss fights feel somewhat repetitive and not all that varied. The "aerial boss fight" trope was cool at first, but got to be really overused. That said, it's mostly more of the same Bayonetta we know and love--same characters, same challenges, collectibles, and mechanics--with combat that manages to feel even tighter than it was in the first game, and with some new features added in. I'm looking forward to returning to the game to beat my scores and to unlock everything.

      Editing … I think the first in any series tends to have my heart. It looks like they put a lot of work into Bayonetta 2 though, gonna be ages before I get to try it though.
