Rayman Legends features an incredible amount of content and is a mechanically superb game, but by trying to cram as much content as possible into the game, some areas have worn thin. Mainly the artistic ones, such as music, story and, to an extent, visuals. Regardless, this is a great game that's easy to recommend to the fans of the genre.
Pros: Overall superb platforming and level design, Time Attack levels are some of the best the genre has seen, visually pleasant, Murphy levels are interesting and well executed, good boss fights, appreciated variety in gameplay and scenery, a ton of content (provided the game still holds your interest)
Cons: Forgettable music, Murphy levels (even though they're great) are too frequent, 8-bit musical levels can go on and suck a lemon, musical levels feature more misses than hits, some visually uninspired levels, virtually no story, overstays its welcome
