Being based on a teen detective mystery series, I was unsure if I would even fit the target demographic.

"Secrets Can Kill" is a 1st-person point-n-click adventure game that features more gaining & using of information rather than physical items (though, still both). And there's this "meta mini game" of searching coins – which is kinda irritating because it encourages pixel hunting if you're as obsessive about "the idea of 1oo%" as I am. Unfortunately, few locations & characters – but to be fair, you do run around back & forth a lot, and it's (the remastered version of) the very first entry in this very-long-running series of adventure games. So it's not that bad.

Difficulty: (a) a mix of simple & sophisticated puzzles/riddles; (b) the sheer amount of all puzzles and everything there is to read in general is amazing; and (c) many puzzles are optional to actually complete the case.

Voice acting: pretty good, I was surprised.

Well … I liked it enough to lust for more.
