Since "Broken Age" will come along in two Acts, # I as well will take the liberty of splitting my Opinion for the time being until # I had the fair chance to experience both parts.

First and foremost, there is a *huge* amount # of charme – established by the visuals, character design, voice acting and camera # work. But where is the substance?

Unlike in classical LucasArts adventure games # – where walking about alone with the occasional "Pick up Item" was not enough to # solve the puzzles and demanded further thinking & experimenting – traversing the areas # in the same manner in BA already solves half the puzzles. This results in a # short & easy game. It does have charme but lacks the humor quality typical of Tim.

Playing as either of two characters and # switching to them at will spices the game up a bit, but as short as this is there isn't # much sense for this feature altogether,
