DuckTales Remastered was on sale on the Wii U eShop so I decided to buy it. For €6 this is a good game. Sure, it's pretty short compared to other platform games (I completed it in 4 and a half hour) but the gameplay was really fun. It stays true to the original in almost any way which is a good thing if you like old school platformers but sometimes I found the constant re-spawning of enemies annoying because it is a very cheap mechanic to increase the difficulty. Speaking of difficulty, you won't get any problems with this game if you played the original or the GameBoy version. The music is great and the character animations are outstanding. It's a bit sad though that the great animations are complemented with cheap and boring 3D objects. The Wii U version crashed once during a cutscene on the Moon which I found utterly frustrating because I had to play that level all over again. The developers should invest more time to port the game properly.
