A lot was expected from Soul Sacrifice. Unfortunately, it didn't quite meet the (in some cases, unrealistic) expectations. Instead, what we got was a solid game with a lot of cool ideas that haven't really reached their full potential.
Pros: Amazing lore, wonderful music, great boss fights, good story, tight gameplay, great net coding and co-op, cool ideas
Cons: Horrible repetition, incredibly poor distribution of boss and arena types, moronic partner AI makes harder side missions near impossible to complete offline, story often feels disjointed from the missions you partake in, unnecessary interruptions to the storytelling, importance of the choices you make is seriously downplayed, bad graphics
