  Editing … Yeah, the cop duo, and the music that plays when they're on screen, is inexplicably goofy. It does feel like it's trying to diffuse the seriousness of the rest of the movie, but Craven chooses a really hammy way of going about it. I still like the movie, but it could have been something else if Craven had the balls to take the entire movie seriously.
