Saved!Splatterhouse 5Editing … Personally, there's a decent amount of horror remakes and reboots that I really like. I think people simply get emotionally attached to movies that they grew up with, and find it blasphemous to "replace" that with something that sells to a newer generation. It is often done with a quick cash grab in mind, but it is nice when it's done with a genuine respect for the original source material. I know there are plenty of movies that I wouldn't care for today had I seen them for the first time as an adult.
