I grew tired of JRPGs years ago when I realized that most of them were the same thing over and over and were written poorly. I got this on a whim, and I have to say that this game made me remember why I used to be really into this genre. The overall story isn't the most original, but he writing and translation are actually great, and many of the smaller story arcs are actually really good. There's also very little grinding until the very end of the game.
