Black Flag combines everything that didn't suck about Wind Waker and Sid Meier's Pirates into one beautiful open world with stunning graphics and a variety of interesting missions you can tackle any way you want. ACIV's strength definitely lies in its naval warfare, it's just absurdly fun attacking and hijacking other ships and stealing their cargo. Edward Kenway is the most likeable protagonist of any AC game so far. The only minor gripe I have with this game is that it actually belongs to the AC III sub-trilogy, but for marketing reasons they slapped a "IV" on the cover. Everything else about it is perfect. 4.5/5
