Bluntly, it's essentially Doom 3D, but with more focus on Sci-Fi than Hell. However it works so well in this context. The Multi-Player, while not as refined as it's sequel, is still fun. It's the single-player that gets this spot, however. Fun, atmospheric, and at times really difficult (fuck the tanks), it would be a shame to be put off from trying this at least once.
