    contra:
    - every car sounds like a lawn mower
    - this game has THE most confusing menu design ever
    - it takes way too long to figure out which cars are eligible for which events
    - the loading times are too long
    - I accidentally started several races all over again because PD suck at creating intuitive user interfaces
    - HUGE con: most cars don't have a proper cockpit view
    - you never win cars that are worth a damn
    - you should be able to skip all B-Spec (basically a specator mode) races, watching the CPU race for half an hour in a circle is boring
    - cars don't take damage if you crash
    - the Dualshock 3 is the worst, most uncomfortable POS controller for this type of game ever (not Polyphony's fault, but still)

    pro:
    + beautiful graphics at 1080p, smooth 60fps
    + amount of race courses
    + depth, lots of cars
+ okayish car handling (doesn't reach the GOAT levels of Forza Motorsport, though)
+ I liked the soundtrack a lot (my favorite song: "YeahYeahYeahs - Heads will roll")

Editing … "it takes way too long to figure out which cars are eligible for which events" That's maybe the main thing that turns me off of GT5. Please explain GOAT levels.

Editing … Forza's cars feel more "grounded" for a lack of a better word, they react more like real cars do, GT feels a bit "floaty" - dare I say "arcadey" ? - in that regard. (goat = game of all time)
