Pretty much my most favorite JRPG ever. It has everything I could wish for in a game like this: An engaging battle system that makes each of your party members unique and useful for different situations, a grand and gripping storyline, a cast of lovable and well realized characters that change and grow over the course of the game, a beautiful soundtrack that is ingrained into my mind, and strong themes that aren't overbearing or preachy.

The game also has one of the most satisfying endings I ever experienced in a game. Few games have left me feeling accomplished like this one.
