The Force Unleashed for PSP differs greatly from its home console counter-part. While the basic story is the same, corners have been cut. Meaning, almost all of the cutscenes that add depth to characters have been lost. Which is a real shame, considering those were the high point of the home console version. However, both the level design and gameplay are vastly different and far less tedious in this version. Even though they're visually less interesting.
Pros: As per usual for the franchise - fantastic OST and lore, great sound effects, fun to traverse, satisfying combat against non-melee enemies, surprisingly destructible environments, decently sized campaign and an added mode not found on the home console version, plenty of unlockables, New Game+, not as much focus on the QTEs
Cons: Unwieldy camera, framerate and other technical issues, some of the cutscenes that flesh out the characters are missing, tiresome melee-to-melee combat, weak QTEs, inconsistent voice acting

Editing … Interesting. I actually greatly preferred Krome Studios' version of The Force Unleashed (PS2/PSP/Wii) over the LucasArts version. The combat, leveling system, level design and character animations all looked much better, and LucasArts actually adopted many of Krome's changes into the sequel.

Editing … It's a toss up for me. Lucas Arts' version focused far more on the set pieces, cinematic presentation and story, while Krome Studios' version focused more on the gameplay and level design. While I had more fun with Krome's version, reckon the Lucas Arts' version will stick with me for a longer time.
