As a complete non-Dragon Ball fan, I reluctantly tagged along with my Dragon Ball fan friends, not knowing what to expect from this. To my surprise, I kind of liked it! Without having seen much of the show, some of the jokes went over my head, but it was sufficiently absurd (in a good way), as someone who's somewhat familiar with the series would expect. How can you not laugh when a fearsome god wants to destroy the Earth over a pudding cup? And the big battle was entertaining overall, even though it takes a while to get to that point. Not bad.
