SpongeBob Squarepants: Battle for BB is a fun 3D platform game for the GC. It features big, explorable levels and three playable characters with unique abilities. The control scheme works fine and there is some great puzzle solving. Most of the time it is definitely an action game because the main heroes can be surrounded by quite a lot roboters - which need to be defeated, of course.

The graphics are alright. The character models and textures don't look stunning but they're not bad either. The soundtrack is very fitting, as are the sound effects.
Some might think that this is an easy game because it belongs to a cartoon series - those people are horribly wrong. Especially at the end of the game the difficulty is quite high which may lead to frustrations to younger gamers. When I was a child I was not even able to beat the first level (also because of the language barrier).
All in all it is an enjoyable 3D platform game. I can finally kick Super Mario Sunshine outta my Top GC list!
