It's pretty refreshing to watch a show that doesn't feel the need to portray any of its main, female characters as young and cute/sexy. The leading ladies of this show are all average-looking, lovable, hilarious dorks, each with her own obsession that can make her go from 0 to "king-sized nerd" in 2 seconds. Princess Jellyfish is a short but charming story about a jellyfish-obsessed aspiring illustrator, Tsukimi, and a cross-dressing son of a politician, Kuranosuke, and how their presence in each others' lives teaches them more about themselves. The ending feels a little less than satisfying, but the show is still a thoroughly entertaining ride.
