Tales of Earthsea is a flawed yet entertaining film. The story starts out to be pretty interesting but it falls apart in the second half and the movie ends without resolving many of the plot points. Despite this, I wouldn't consider this a bad movie as I had a fun time watching this film despite it's many flaws. The animation is top-notch as usual with Studio Ghibli's works and considering that it was Goro Miyazaki's debut movie, it was a pretty decent start for him.
