YHF signifies a moment when old fashioned music merges with the experimental style of the 2000s in perfect harmony. The album flows so smoothly with each song transitioning masterfully no matter what the shift in mood may be. The writing is surreal, powerful, and personal and manages to conglomerate the whole album into a stylistic masterpiece. Wilco encapsulated the time in which a brand new era of music had begun, and they embraced it wholeheartedly.
