    Hey @Alexander Schüfer & @Haafie !,
what did you guys think about Endless Space ? Do you need Steam account for it? Is there any kind of DRM? What's the gameplay like? edit: uh, it's turn based :( nevermind then

Should I get this or #Galactic Civilizations ?

Editing … I quite like Endless Space, it looks well put together, it doesn't require the micromanagement some other 4X require. There is no interactive spacebattles as such, just bring the bigger/better fleet and you'll win. GalCiv is also turn based, more micromanaging than Endless Space.

Editing … Have not played Endless Space yet i read that it is 4x "light" game as i like to do the micromanagement, and as far i know it is partly real time strategy. Galactic Civilizations otherwise is turn-based as such games are by default.

Editing … And it seems like Endless Space needs a Steam account, so I'll probably never buy this game unless Koch Media releases a DRM-free version of it. Has anybody here played the "Democracy", "Homeworld" or "Caesar" series?

Editing … Galciv is a lot better imo. Caesar is really fun, it's like SimCity with more micro. Homeworld is an great game too, really original, even though I don't like RTS games so much. Have never played Democracy.
