I wasn't expecting much from Pom Poko, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. Pom Poko is a hilarious movie with a powerful message on the effects of human expansion on the habitats of animals. Though it is not the best Studio Ghibli film around, I think that this movie needs more recognition!
