Lumines: Electronic Symphony can easily induce a zen state in which you completely lose track of time and space and the only thing that matters is the game you're playing. Each of the three pillars (gameplay, visuals and sound), that form the game, individually is of high quality, but together they form a spectacular result. One that you'll be thinking about long after you turn the game off. It's a shame that the extra modes feel tacked on, only to justify the high initial asking price.
Pros: Fantastic blend of gameplay, visuals and sound, gameplay is addicting, approachable and deep, overall superb sountrack, lovely and non-distracting visuals
Cons: Additional content is lacking in quantity and creativity, a couple of songs feel anemic compared to the rest of the OST, Voyage mode doesn't randomize the songs/skins, transitions between songs could've been handled slightly better, controls feel a bit floaty at later stages of the game, severely overpriced at launch
