The Iron Giant is truly a testament to the huge potential of animated cinema. It's funny, thrilling, and heartwarming--just purely entertaining from beginning to end. I'm also a sucker for the theme of extreme, mid-century American paranoia, and it's flawlessly implemented into this story. It's not fair how many times I cried watching this. : (
